Preparing for Your Consultation
Before your consultation, jot down your top goals and any specific concerns (e.g., neckline, eyelids, nose shape or breathing). Gather your medical history, including prior surgeries or procedures (fillers, Botox, lasers), medications and supplements, allergies, and any nasal or sinus issues. Bring a few unedited photos of yourself from earlier years if you have them—these help illustrate your natural features. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete forms, and consider coming with minimal makeup and your hair pulled back so we can clearly see your facial structure for examination and photos. If your visit may involve functional concerns (like nasal breathing), bring prior records or imaging if available.
During the visit, you’ll discuss your goals with the surgeon, followed by a focused facial exam assessing skin quality, symmetry, and (when relevant) the nasal airway. Standardized photographs are typically taken; some practices may also use computer imaging to help align expectations. You’ll review personalized options—from skincare and injectables to surgical procedures—along with expected results, risks, recovery time, and pricing. Most patients leave with a written plan and next steps, which may include scheduling, pre-op instructions, or medical clearances if surgery is considered. You’ll have time for questions—be candid about your timeline and downtime so your plan fits your life.
